On August 22, 2016 Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced new plans for restoration of rights for returning citizens after the Virginia Supreme Court overturned his Executive Order of April 22nd.

In 2014, Virginia ranked 31st in the nation, with 36.6 percent of citizen voting age population (CVAP) casting ballots. Leading state Maine had the highest turnout in 2014, with 59.2 percent of CVAP casting ballots. Virginia had a higher voting rate than Tennessee (29.5%), but was lower than both North Carolina (40.9%) and Maryland (41.6%). Average voter turnout in the nation in 2014 was 36.4 percent.

We Need Church Locations

Does your church have a community room that is available on Saturday from 9am til Noon or 10am til 1pm? If so we would like to use it as a registration site. Contact with church name and location. Our initial locations will be in Richmond and then we will expand statewide.
