You need a computer or tablet and a phone to make calls from our Open Virtual Phonebanks

All phonebanks can be accessed by a direct link that opens the phonebank; you will need to login using your ActionID. Phonebanks display the following voter information:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Address
  • Polling Location
  • Voting History

Each phonebank has a script embedded on each page directly below the voter name and phone number. Each script has at least one embedded question. When the voter answers the question, select the answer from the drop-down and then click Next to save the record and display the next voter.

If you are not able to speak with the voter (Not Home, Left Message, Wrong Number, Etc.) click No at the top of the screen and then choose the appropriate answer

Voter Questions
We always ask voters at least two questions: Are they going to vote and Do they need a ride to the polls?

Ride to the Polls
We use a volunteer online service called Carpool Vote to connect volunteer drivers with people needs rides in all 50 states. If a voter says they need a ride to the polls, select Yes as the answer to the question. Carpool Vote volunteer operators will follow-up with everyone that needs a ride and book them on the service. Drivers contact voters directly to arrange the rides.

Access Phonebanks
We add new phonebanks every day and remove completed ones. Click on Virginia Phonebanks on the right side of this page to access the list of active phonebanks
